Products
We are 100% VEGAN. In the European Union, selling cosmetic products tested on animals is prohibited. The ban on animal testing applies to both the final formulation and the ingredients of the product.
Overall, all Natalie's products are free from ingredients of animal origin, silicones, mineral oils, parabens, kerosene, PEGs, microplastics, essential oils and drying alcohols.
Our products are produced in Germany and ingredients are sourced within the EU, according to strict EU cosmetic guidelines.
Our products do not contain essential oils. Essential oils can cause allergic reactions, especially in people prone to skin rashes and those who have pollen allergies. Reactions to essential oils may include skin rashes, itchy and runny nose, and difficulty breathing.
Natalie (as a doctor) and the company's chemist use their knowledge to investigate clinical studies and research: Ingredients, pH levels, ingredient concentrations, and ingredient combinations to develop effective, science-based personal care. They always stay on top of the latest scientific research and strive to develop the most effective products for their customers.
All of our products are safe and effective to use on your face, although it also depends entirely on your skin. It is more of a marketing statement that body products cannot be used on the face, especially if they meet the same high quality standards as facial products, like our products do.
Unfortunately, we do not offer samples in the form of sachets. However, our 75 ml products are wonderful for testing. We offer our Hydration Body Gel, Better Aging Body Lotion and Smooth Body Lotion in 75 ml. Only after multiple applications, you can really judge the effect of a product, which is why we have chosen this variant. In addition, these sizes are perfect for traveling.
Products containing retinol and salicylic acid should not be used during pregnancy. Therefore, you should NOT use our Better Aging Body Lotion and Purity Body Lotion during pregnancy.
We generally recommend the application of sunscreen, as sun accelerates the skin aging process and can lead to long-term skin damage. Regarding our products, we especially recommend applying sunscreen after applying all of our body lotions (Better Aging, Glow, Smooth and Purity). We would like to point out that all products (regardless of brand) that contain retinol or an AHA acid (e.g. fruit acid) remove the dead skin cells and therefore the skin can burn faster in the sun.
Skin & Skincare
Body lotion is not specifically designed to treat sunburn. It's best to use aloe vera gel or a dedicated after-sun product to soothe sunburned skin. These products are formulated to provide relief and hydration after sun exposure. Our Hydration Body Gel for example can be perfectly applied to treat a sunburn or in general after taking a sun bath.
Body lotion is used to moisturize and hydrate the skin. It helps to maintain the skin's natural moisture barrier, keeping it soft, smooth, and healthy. Regular use of body lotion can prevent dryness and improve skin texture. We offer a selection of natural body lotions - take a look and try the one suited to your needs.
The best body lotion depends on your skin type and specific needs. Look for a body lotion that suits your skin type (dry, oily, sensitive, etc.) and contains beneficial ingredients like hyaluronic acid, shea butter, or glycerin for added hydration. We offer a selection of natural body lotions - take a look and try the one suited to your needs.
Body lotion is typically applied to clean and dry skin all over the body. Focus on areas prone to dryness, such as arms, legs, elbows, and knees. Gently massage the lotion in circular motions for better absorption.
Body lotion can be used daily after a shower or bath, ideally when the skin is still slightly damp. This helps lock in moisture. You can also use it as needed throughout the day if your skin feels dry or tight.
Body lotions with high concentrations of hyaluronic acid can provide intense hydration. Look for products that specifically mention hyaluronic acid as a key ingredient on the label. Hyaluronic acid is for example a key ingredient in our Hydration Body Gel and Glow Body Lotion.
While body lotion is formulated for the body, it is generally not recommended for the face. Facial skin is more delicate and prone to breakouts. It's best to use a facial moisturizer that is specifically designed for the needs of facial skin. However, if they meet the same high quality standards as facial products, like our products do, they can be applied on the face.
Body lotions are not ideal for the face due to differences in skin thickness and sensitivity. Facial skin requires products that are non-comedogenic and formulated to address specific facial skin concerns. It's advisable to use a dedicated facial moisturizer for the best results, unless your body lotion meets the same high quality standards as facial products, like our products do.
At 40, signs of aging become more visible. A good skincare routine includes gentle cleansing, moisturizing, anti-aging products containing ingredients like retinol or hyaluronic acid, and regular use of sunscreen to prevent wrinkles and age spots. We can recommend the combination of our Better Aging Body Lotion, Better Aging Body Oil and Hydration Body Gel.
After weight loss, skin can lose elasticity. You can tighten your skin by engaging in regular exercise, staying well-hydrated, and using firming creams. In severe cases, skin tightening surgery may be necessary.
Unprotected skin without sunscreen is susceptible to sun damage, including sunburn, premature aging, and skin cancer. Sunscreen is crucial for shielding the skin from harmful UV rays.
Skin that looks like parchment is often very dry and thin. Moisturizers and rich creams can help hydrate the skin. Avoid excessive sun exposure as it can further damage the skin.
For extremely dry skin, it's essential to use rich moisturizers and lotions. Avoid hot baths and shower with lukewarm water. Stay well-hydrated by drinking enough water to moisturize the skin from within.
You can strengthen your skin against the sun by applying sunscreen with a high SPF daily, wearing protective clothing, and avoiding direct sun exposure during peak hours. Antioxidants in your diet can also contribute to skin protection.
Skin peeling can be due to dryness, sunburn, or skin conditions. Use mild moisturizers, avoid excessive friction, and keep your skin well-hydrated to reduce peeling.
Itchy skin can have various causes, from dryness to skin conditions. Avoid scratching, use rich moisturizers, and consult a dermatologist to identify the exact cause and receive appropriate treatment.
